 Satish Kumar, Founder, Chairman and CEO

Satish Kumar is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of GLOPORE IMS. Satish brings a successful 17 years of professional experience that spans North America, Europe and the Indian sub-continent. He is responsible for the company's vision, strategy and building the global leadership team.

Prior to setting up GLOPORE IMS, Satish was with Novell Inc., (NASDAQ: NOVL) at its corporate headquarters in Waltham, MA USA. His dedication and commitment won him the Novell ONE Award. Satish started his career in Bangalore, INDIA where he worked with various reputed MNCs. Some of his significant achievements include his involvement in the development of OS/2 Toolkit for IBM; building Lotus Notes Gateways to customers in Germany and managing on-shore and off-shore project teams for Compaq as part of BFL Software. In 1997, Satish was hired by Cambridge Technology Partners (NASDAQ: CATP) a global IT Consulting firm with over US$650M in revenue and 5500+ employees. Satish has a strong technology background and several certifications including ITIL® , Siebel, Novell and Microsoft. In August 2006, itSMF certifies (Certificate No: 519) Satish as ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor.

Satish holds an MBA in Global Management from Babson College, USA and Master of Science in Computer Science from Kennedy-Western University, USA, Master's Diploma in Computerized Software Applications from Datapro Information Technology, INDIA, Bachelors of Science from Kuvempu University, INDIA and has done several courses including Entrepreneurial Strategies for Innovation and Growth - Corporate Entrepreneurship from Babson Executive Education, USA.

Satish is member of TIE - The IndUS Entrepreneurs and NECINA - New England Chinese Information and Network Association. Outside professional life, he enjoys networking - connecting with people, reading business journals, listening to music, playing cricket and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. U. Srinivasa Rangan, Co-Founder , Director and VP - Global Strategy & Alliances

Dr. Rangan is Co-Founder, Director and VP - Global Strategy & Alliances at GLOPORE IMS. Dr. Rangan Co-Founded GLOPORE IMS and is responsible for overall strategy of the company and forging alliances. He also holds the Lukšić Chair Professorship in Strategy and Global Studies at Babson College in the United States. Dr. Rangan brings over 30 years of Industry, Academic, Teaching, Research and Management experience in the areas of Competitive Strategy, Economic Development, Globalization and Strategic Alliances. His current research deals with the globalization of Indian, Chinese, and Brazilian companies, their use of acquisitions and alliances, evolution of industries and firm-level strategies, and the impact of national business systems on them.

After serving as a manager in industrial and international finance with the State Bank of India in India and England, Dr. Rangan held research and faculty positions at IMD, Harvard Business School (HBS), and Tulane University. Dr. Rangan's research, teaching, and consulting focus on competitive strategy, strategic alliances, globalization, and national competitiveness. Winner of several teaching awards, he has designed and taught several executive programs at many prestigious international schools of management, working with senior managers from several industries in North America, Europe, and Asia. He also worked with Professor Michael Porter of HBS to advise the Indian government on the economic development policies to pursue to ensure national competitiveness following the government's decision in the 1990s to liberalize the economy.

Dr. Rangan is the co-author of two books (Strategic Alliances: An Entrepreneurial Approach to Globalization, HBS Press, 1995 and Capital Rising, Palgrave Macmillan, 2010). In 1996, his first book was named one of the top 30 business books of the year in both the United States and Europe and was translated into several languages. His second book deals with how entrepreneurial ecosystems of countries and global capital flows interact to change the global competitive landscape. Author of several best-selling case studies on global strategic management, published by HBS, IMD and Babson, he is currently co-editing a book on Globalization and Asia with professors from INSEAD and the International University of Japan. Dr. Rangan holds M.Sc. in Physics from University of Madurai, India, M.Sc., in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, M.B.A. from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland and PhD from Harvard University.

Sunil Rao, Vice President - ITS Practice and Transition Management

Mr. Sunil Rao is currently working as VP - ITS Practice and Transition Management at GLOPORE IMS. He currently heads ITS Practice, Pre-Sales, Transition Management, ICT and Facilities functions.

Mr. Sunil Rao has over 16 years of IT experience in IT Infrastructure management space having worked with WIPRO, AQUENT, Vinciti Networks and Siebel in IT industry.

Prior to GLOPOREIMS, Mr. Sunil Rao was working as Senior Self Service Analyst at Siebel, managing the hosted services for On Demand group. Mr. Sunil Rao has handled various critical projects during his professional associations, like Infrastructure design and deployment for Wipro’s Whitefield office, ODC Infrastructure management for Texas instruments, India and Infrastructure Architecture design and implementation for SeNet Communications. Mr. Sunil Rao has spent about 3.5 years in United States as a Unix Consultant and has worked on building UNIX application infrastructure for customers of eDocs, namely American Express, Humana, Cingular wireless, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, FannieMae, BlueCross BlueShield Association, etc. Mr. Sunil Rao has also spent about 4 years as Senior Network Analyst at WIPRO Technologies as part of their core Infrastructure Management Team, being part of the team that built WIPRO’s ITPL facility infrastructure being one of the important milestones.

Mr. Sunil Rao holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree and has done Advanced Diploma in Networking and systems. He has also completed many technical certifications including ITIL®, Certification in UNIX, Linux, and networking from Brain bench.

R P Singh, Director - Sales & Marketing

RP Singh (or RP, as he is popularly called) is the Director of Sales & Marketing for GLOPORE IMS. RP has over two decades of experience in Sales & Marketing roles at the senior management level with the last 12 years in pan European Operations. His diversified experience includes IT Consulting & Services, BPO Operations, Customer Support, Strategic Partnerships and Alliances. RP has a track record in growing businesses rapidly in the IT Services space by leading sales teams to achieve aggressive revenue goals. He also has experience in leading cross-functional teams across sales and delivery which has helped him manage large consulting engagements with P&L responsibility.

Starting his IT foray in India in 1977 with DCM Data Products, RP  moved to HCL in its infancy stages, where he worked for over 20 years. From a $5M organisation, RP grew with the organisation to what is a multi billion dollar global enterprise today. Entrepreneurial spirit, the basic ethos of HCL, is what got imbibed in him as a way of life. In the early days of HCL, RP was involved in big wins like Life Insurance Corporation, Intelligence Bureau and the Indian Railways. When support took a beating, he stepped in to lead large support teams with dramatic improvements in customer satisfaction levels. This talks about his versatility as a leader. He managed, from inception to disinvestment a joint venture with Hewlett Packard where in a period of 5 years revenues grew from $25 M to $200M. In the process, he also developed strategic alliances with many product and service companies worldwide for inorganic business growth.

The era of software services saw RP head International Marketing of HCL Technologies from India. He then moved to UK to manage pan European consulting teams. He successfully managed sales teams with big 5 background to sell blended offshore services to some of the large systems integrators in Europe.

In 2002, RP headed to European Operations of Blue Star Infotech as its Chief Operating Officer before setting up his own consulting practice in 2005. In his consulting practice, he has been involved with a property BPO company to corporatize its offerings, a law firm in creating legal BPOs in India, a large technology oriented US centric IT services company in developing its 'go to market' plan for Europe and a host of other assignments.

RP is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and an Electronic Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering.

Srinivas Rao is Independent Director at GLOPORE IMS, who is actively mentoring GLOPORE IMS management team in several areas including customer/ talent acquisition and building scalable IMS\RIM service delivery capabilities to consistently deliver IT Service Management Excellence.

Srinivas Rao is the Founder and CEO of Aujas Networks, a pure-play digital security services company and also Director at 24X7Learning.Com. Rao co-founded Aujas Networks in February 2008 after over 23 years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to Aujas, Rao served as the Senior Vice President — Market Management at Cisco Systems and also served as the Chief Operating Officer at IBM Netsol.

Previously, he worked at Network Solutions as their Executive Director, where he was instrumental in scaling it from an early stage entity to a medium sized company, before it was acquired by IBM Global Services. He has also worked as a senior executive with Microland, a leading Indian IT service provider. Rao holds a B.E. from Osmania University and an MBA from IIM, Bangalore.

Anantha Krishna, Vice President - CES and RIM Practice

Anantha is the Vice President for Consulting and Education  Services and building RIM practice in GLOPORE IMS. Anantha brings a successful 22 years of professional experience that spans North America, Europe, Japan and the Indian sub-continent. He is responsible for the company's vision, strategy and building the global leadership team in IT Governance, Transformational Consulting, Education and RIM business verticals.

Prior to GLOPORE IMS, Anantha was with Wipro Technologies (NASDAQ: WIT).  In Wipro Technologies Anantha held many responsible roles such as Sr. Network Analyst, IT infrastructure architect, IT operations manager, Program manager, Head of GNOC, Lead consultant in quality consulting group.  Anantha has exposure to people management, process management, IT Architecutre in terms of infrastructure, management, process framework, standardization of operations to comply with ISO standards, Aligning processes to comply to regulatory controls such as SOX, CNI etc. Anantha was one of the leaders who was part of design, develop, deploy the BS15000 (Later it was adopted as ISO20000) & BS7799 (Later it was adopted as ISO27001) IT service management framework and Information Security standards respectively.

Anantha was also deployed in USA for architecting and building “Near Shore Centers” and “Onsite development Centers” across North America, Europe and Japan, head quartered in San Jose in California, USA. Anantha has worked with CXOs of various organizations during his career and is a “Big Picture” man with an approach of goals and milestones based focused and result oriented program management.

Anantha holds a Diploma in Electronics and Communications, Post-Graduation course in General Management (distant MBA program designed for Senior executives of Wipro by IIMB and Alliance Business Academy) and certifications and courses on various niche segments such as IT marketing, CAN, CANA, MCSE, Lead Auditor – ISO27001:2005, ITIL V2 Foundation, ITIL V2 Masters in Service Support etc.

Anantha also had stints in Cromton Greaves limited, PCS, Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd., before Wipro Technologies. He also had an entrepreneur stint in between in the areas of consulting in IT Governance and compliance.

Pradeep Parameswaran, Associate Vice President - Service Delivery

Mr.Pradeep P is Associate Vice President - Service Delivery at GLOPORE IMS. Responsible for Remote Infrastructure Management & remote Technical Support Services. Pradeep joins GLOPORE IMS family with 13 years of IT Industry work experience, with expertise in Transition and Project Management, Building Service Delivery Portfolio and Customer Account Management. 

Prior to GLOPORE IMS, Mr.Pradeep has worked with UNISYS, TESCO, e4e Tech Support & Network Solutions.

In Unisys Mr.Pradeep held multiple responsibilities, as Service Delivery Program Manager he was responsible in Catering IT Services to internal Stakeholders worldwide. As Global Transition Manager was responsible for Remote Infrastructure project Transitions to Off-Shore Locations in INDIA, CHINA and HUNGARY. He brings vast experience of customer management internationally. As part of Program and Project Management he has travelled to numerous customer places in USA, UK, FRANCE, HUNGARY & CHINA. E4e Tech Support designated Mr.Pradeep in various roles during his Journey. As Technical Account Manager he was responsible for multiple Key Global accounts. Deliverables include Transition and Program Delivery. 

Mr.Pradeep P holds Post Graduation in IT from SYMBIOSYS University and various skilled certifications, to name a few: ITIL Certified, CCNP & CSSA.

Sunil Dutt, Associate Vice President - Service Delivery

Mr. Sunil Dutt is Associate Vice President – Service Delivery at GLOPORE IMS. He brings over 15+ years of IT Industry experience in diverse facets of the organization like Service Delivery, Key Account Management, Operations and Human Resources. He is responsible for delivering services to customers in the IMS vertical.

Prior to joining GLOPORE IMS, Mr. Sunil has worked with Optimum InfoSystem, e4e tech Support (formerly known as Vinciti Networks), Global Multimedia Ltd.

As Manager – Operations, he was heading the BU for India Operations of Optimum, managing Client Acquisition & Management, Delivery & Operations Management for key customers in the BFSI & Technology space like Credit Suisse, CitiBank, Nomura, Barclays, Philips etc for the SEA region. As Manager – Operations at Vinciti, he was responsible for delivering IT services in both managed and selective sourcing models to global customers like Cadence, Texas Instruments, MicroSoft etc. Prior to this role, he was also part of the core HR team in Vinciti. He has also executed major turnkey IT projects for key governmental organizations during his stint with Global Multimedia Ltd.

Mr. Sunil Dutt holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Bangalore University and an active member in various HR forums including NHRD.
